Elements of the teaching - learning process and their interaction in the educational field

Abstract

The teaching-learning process represents a fundamental aspect of education, but some teachers are unaware of the characteristics and relationships that exist between its components. This research focused on analyzing the elements of the teaching - learning process and their dynamic interaction in the educational field. For this, a documentary-type research was carried out that allowed the review, interpretation and contrast of various bibliographic sources through content analysis. Regarding the results obtained, it is possible to highlight the existence of a dynamic, interdependent, systemic and complex relationship between the elements of the teachinglearning process, where its protagonists interact in a bidirectional way. The teacher plans and executes the didactic act, taking into account the context, the characteristics of his students and the inherent aspects of teaching, such as: objectives, content, methodology, resources and evaluation. Students, for their part, actively participate in pedagogical actions, according to their cognitive processes, communication skills and the internal phases that allow them to develop new knowledge; Consequently, they maintain a reciprocal relationship, which affects teamwork, discipline and collaborative learning. A final relevant aspect in the results is that the context influences and is influenced by the educational actors; and, as an intervening factor, it can modify the dynamics of the teachinglearning process.
