This study analyzes the perception of academic authorities regarding digital transformation in the academic management processes of a private university in the Metropolitan District of Quito. The research was conducted under a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and field design. The data collection was carried out through a structured survey of 20 questions in a five-point Likert scale applied to the Academic Vice Rectorate, Academic Direction, Faculty Deanships and Career Directions. This survey was validated by three experts: an academic authority, an administrative-academic authority linked to the Department of Information and Communication Technologies and, finally, a teacher specialized in Research Methodology. The results show limited automation and digitalization of processes, manual academic management, lack of continuous technical support and weak digital integration between teacher and student. It is concluded that there is progress in the access to digital platforms and the institutional digital culture, but digitalization is still uneven in procedures, pedagogical interaction and management, limiting the efficiency of the University. It is recommended to perform a comprehensive technical evaluation of the current system and, if necessary, consider a new academic project with a structured methodology.
