Abstract

The present investigation is directed towards the analysis of the influence of SPOC courses on university students. Based on other research carried out and also on the incorporation of new academic technological innovations dedicated to generating new ways of studying in students and in this way meet the objective of determining the effectiveness of the SPOC course "Photography for beginners" as a means of teaching for the practical learning of camera management through a quasi-experimental methodology with pre and post, so the course was applied to offer a scientifically consolidated knowledge that allows students and teachers of Media Production of The Universidad Iberoamericana del Ecuador have other options to develop their knowledge and put them into practice. From the execution of the aforementioned, it was obtained as a result of the analysis of the influence of this course in students that there are significant differences in the knowledge of camera management after exposure to SPOC with a p value ? 0.05, reaching to the conclusion that the application of this method of study in the students of the production career for effective media and should be implemented. Therefore, it is recommended to apply as a contribution to academic activities that encourage the use of audiovisual media such as the SPOC course in this case dedicated to camera management in the subject of photography and other content.
